2019 is the year of the Pig, and Kijner & Sons International Realty New York Inc. would like to wish you great happiness and prosperity for the year ahead.

The Chinese New Year Parade and festival in Manhattan will be held on February 17, 2019. The parade kicks off at 1:00pm and the party lasts until 4:30pm. It is a great opportunity to enjoy Chinatown, eat some delicious food  such as Peking duck, sweet bread cake, rice pudding, bloody red oranges and don't forget your hung pao (red envelopes) to put money in them!

Head to the neighborhood shindig for the Lunar New Year Parade, which heads down Mott and Canal Streets, continues onto East Broadway toward the Manhattan Bridge and curves up through Sara D. Roosevelt Park via Forsythe and Eldridge Streets toward Grand Street. For more information, visit betterchinatown.com.

The Chinese New Year also marks the start of a new lunar calendar which coincides with the start of the Real Estate season in New York City. Savvy investors have learned to start searching early for their best rental and/or purchase. Since the average Coop purchase from start to end is 90 days and 60 days for Condo - it makes for a perfect move-in in the Spring.

Don’t hesitate to contact one of our expert licensed real estate salespersons at Kijner & Sons International Realty NY Inc. to schedule a complimentary meeting and start your property purchase or rental search now.
