Morningside Heights

Tucked in between Harlem and the Upper West Side, Morningside is a Harlem gem, which is bounded by 110th Street on the South, by Riverside Drive on the West, 125th Street on the North, and Morningside Drive to the East.

It’s named after Morningside Park that is located on the eastern edge of the neighborhood. Lovely Brownstones, and classic red bricks low-rises building offer a charm of another area. This neighborhood probably offers the largest concentration of education options in the city per square foot with Columbia University, the Teachers College, Barnard College, the Manhattan School of Music, the Bank Street College of Education, Grant's Tomb, the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, and the Interchurch Center.
