Yorkville, a tiny neighborhood on the eastern point of the Upper East Side, its boundaries lie between 79th and 96th streets. It ends at Third Avenue to the West, passing by York Avenue, which runs through the middle of the neighborhood with mix of townhouses, high-rise apartments and mid-rise tenements.
This Upper East Side neighborhood offers some of the best retails such as Schaller & Weber the first and only American sausage and meat producer to repeatedly win gold medals of honor at international exhibitions in Holland and Germany. It is our owner favorite butchers. Yorkville without Park East Kosher would not be as special as it is. A traditional Kosher market since the 1970's offering specialty meats, prepared Jewish foods, imported cheese and one Challah Egg Bread that is to “die for”.
The extension of the subway on 2nd avenue will certainly give rise to an increase of property value and bring this little residential gem even closer to Midtown and Downtown Manhattan. 86th street boasts an incredible array of retailers and shops to cater to everyone’s needs as well as a movie theater.
